Red Jacket Firearms ZK-22 Bullpup Review and custom hydrographed zombie killer

With the second safety not installed its obviously not in the way and there's no real need for it anyway. (I have guys tellin me that theirs is fine and others are saying they had to touch it up a lil to make it work).

As far as the charging handle, its not like your constantly charging it. You're only gonna charge it when loading and unloading so its not much of an issue. If you could change the factory handle out with a straight handle it would fix that issue all together.

Overall it shoots fine and it is very comfortable to hold and im 6'1". The overall design is just awesome. I really like the bullpup design. It is a little heavy in the rear but your going to have that with a bullpup.

I myself am not a fan of the Ruger 10/22 in general, but you can definitely spice it up with this stock. If you've never dealt with a 10/22, they do not care for standard velocity ammo. What i've found is the brass does not eject well with low grade/velocity ammo because the pressure isnt enough to fully open the action. This is common for several semi autos especially .22's. I do not like the action lock at all. Also I know finding aftermarket magazines that function well for anything nowadays is rough but its even harder for the 10/22. There are a lot of junk magazines out there and the 10/22 is picky. I also hate loading the 10/22 magazines its a pain and hurts the fingers.

Love that Skull pattern And I Plan to make one from the Original made by TALFLEDERMAUS Back in 2009 using a Airsoft P90 from ebay for about $40. bucks instead of the ready made stocks that run anywhere from $200.-$400.00.
Also IMO the Big part of making one is the Pleasure & Challenge of doing it from Scratch.
Anyhow as for the charging handle Maybe you can mount some stiff aluminum on Top to keep it stable, the Safe action trigger is cool as is the extended mag release.
The Big thing I need to research is How to delete the front sight & Thread the barrel with out removing it from the trunion.
They Do make a tool to cut the end down on a AK platform so again Maybe someone makes a cutting tool to trim down the 10 22 barrel
Last I Really Miss the days when you could run your 22 lr in the park or back yard with out everyone calling 911 like I did when I was in Grade School with the 22 I got as a hand me down from Grand Pa
