This was my wife's family property that sold in Dec. 30 mi away but only if rental house was vacant; I was the berserk warrior in the hollow. It was a AMT from CA I hear was a mass producer of firearms for a quick sale.?. Not sure of other calibers, I hear there is a AMT 1,2,3,4?, spring is weak? doesn't always go into battery without a little tap on the slide. I would like a 30 M1 carbine but maybe will never happen; price has jumped.

Hope you still have a place to shoot. Nothing worse than those indoor ranges full of millennials.lol. I think I told you before I just bought an M1 garand from my wife’s uncles estate. Brother in law bringing it here in a few weeks. He had 3 carbines. A Rockolla and 2 Winchester’s think the Rockolla went for 900 and the Winchester’s were 800 each. Would of liked to have one but a little to much for me..

@NC Gun Guy : Now I just got the national forest and blm land to shoot; closest indoor range is 70 mi. but my big deal is I just hate to lose my brass, must be a reloader thing,lol. Had a M1 on layaway but it fell through when I bought my 500 S&W, wife thing. an original for 572 bucks, damn. I love my Garand. It came with a bunch of firearms from an old guy needin cash; I made out on that one.

572 would have been a good deal, 800 is a little steep I think. I hear ya on the brass. I hate loosing one.
