I like this nylon or suede type a lot better than plastic. The problem with plastic is its noisy with the gun going in and coming out. Maybe if they padded the inside it would be better. Seems like they would have put something in this holster to stiffen it for holstering like they do for some nylon holsters. I use leather most of the time but I will also use suede or nylon. Leather holsters must be worn in also to better shape and stiffen them. They are very tight fitting also to begin with but loosen when worn. I have a Bulldog leather OWB slip/slide holster that is great and fits all my pistols compacts and the SIG micro compact just fine and still is tight enough for retention. But my leather IWB Kusiak holster for the SIG micro compact only fits it and nothing else. That Alien holster should be fine if it holds its shape after wear in. I think the smaller holster will be more comfortable. The less in the pants the better. Best of luck with it.
