It does; don't lock your arm, slight bend and pull, it does the rest, the energy comes to the rear, hard! Plus my little pills do go POP real big..I love it. That pistol cost me my M1 on layaway, I brought the 500 home and hell surfaced and I retracted my layaway as soon and quietly as possible. she never new, but aw hell what a loss.

@NC Gun Guy : It came to a real head xmas 2017; bought no new firearms since but you know there are funny ways to get around our addiction to feed the need...I have more parts and pieces than I will ever use as just a start to my madness. lol?
